To add our weather alerts to your Myspace
account, sign up for a free Twitter account which takes less than 5 minutes maximum to set
up. Get your free Twitter account here. Then visit Swas Inc,
click on the Twitter menu button, and select your city or state. If you set your Twitter
account to private and do not follow anyone else, only the
weather alerts will appear on your MySpace Twitter app.If you decide to keep your Twitter
account public, which requires no changes to your Twitter settings, you will receive your
weather alerts mixed in with the rest of the tweets from your followers. You can now move
over to Myspace for the next steps.
There you can install Twitter as an app
from the app library at MySpace. To set it up, just click on my apps under your profile
tab and then click on sync and follow the prompts to complete setup. To assure your
weather alerts delivered to your mobile phone there is always the SMS capability Twitter provides on your Twitter
settings page or even better, onboard apps
for your cell phone. We do strongly advise using Twitter's full SMS
capability in addition to using client apps or browsers. |
